Dear Friends of FCA Lacrosse:
This Christmas is the first for our family in our new home in Olathe, KS.  Our family is growing our roots in the Midwest!  We have found a church home at Christ Community Church, where Grace (4 years old) is in the middle of her first year of pre-school.  She is enjoying all of the girls in our cul de sac, and making many new friends here.  Luke (2.5 years old) is a passionate third generation Green Bay Packer fan and is one of the top lacrosse prospects in the state in his recruiting class.  Everyone tells me that back East Lacrosse recruiting is starting earlier and earlier every year, and I know good left hand goalies are hard to come by, but we are sometimes overwhelmed by the early looks he is getting (just kidding).  Caleb will be 7 months soon, and Anna is enjoying the final months of him not being able to walk yet.  Anna has joined a Women’s Bible Study in the area, and is enjoying life in Johnson County and the 2.7 Starbucks per square mile.

I am enjoying continuing serving the Lord through FCA in new ways.  Serving at the Home Office has been a tremendous blessing, and God continues to stretch, and challenge me each day.

This Christmas, we as a family are so grateful to celebrate Christ presence in our lives.  The great miracle of Christ birth, life and Resurrection bring contentment, peace, meaning and fulfillment in each of our lives.  We are so grateful for our family, and friends and all of the great relationships we have through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  I thank God for the ultimate miracle of forgiveness of our sins, and that Christ loves us despite our sinfulness.  I am most thankful for how Christ sees his forgiven children and that our lives bring Him pleasure because of our salvation in Him.

As our teammate I ask you to consider praying for the following needs in your prayer time.

Please remember the following prayer requests this Christmas:
God’s Increase – Pray that God becomes more relevant and a more significant part of our lives everyday.  Pray the Holy Spirit to guide each of us as we represent Him and share Him boldly in our actions, attitudes, and occasionally words.  The amount we pray is a great demonstration of the level of trust and faith we have in God.  Pray for the prayer life of our family, FCA Staff to flourish, so that we can be in tune to God’s plans.

FCA Lacrosse Executive Director – Our Leadership is working diligently on finding a new Executive Director.  Pray for God’s wisdom in the process, and for the staff as they step up and lead during this unique season of me leading from Kansas City.

End of the Year Giving – FCA Lacrosse is in a unique season of need.  Please pray for God’s provision and consider a special End of the Year Gift to FCA Lacrosse.
